Courses Continue to Be Online: Our April COVID-19 Update

Canadian Business College would like to thank all of our staff, students and communities for actively doing their part to flatten the curve and slow the infection rate of this deadly virus. We recognize that this has been a significant challenge for society as a whole but in true Canadian fashion we have taken the appropriate actions and are now #StrongerTogether. ❤️

We continue to monitor the situation very closely as it does change on a daily basis. Our main priority at this time is the health and safety of all people and their communities. Our classes continue to be delivered through a remote learning model that is easily accessible from the safety of home for at least the foreseeable future. As of today we are not exactly sure what the Ontario government will do when it comes to re-opening businesses and services. The recent extension of the elementary and high school closures until May 31st may be foreshadowing on what timelines we can possibly expect as a Career College. In the meantime our tentative plan will be to look at bringing staff back into the campuses once that is deemed safe by public health and the provincial government. Staff will then prepare the campuses for the safe return of students and testing centre exam participants.

Tentatively as of today, we are preparing for staff to return to the campuses in late May likely sometime after the holiday weekend with classes and exam testing once again being back on campus as of June 1, 2020. This is subject to change based on future recommendations and additional guidance from government and public health in the coming weeks. We feel it is important to have a tentative plan in place so that it gives us all hope that we will be able to see some normalcy come back into our lives post pandemic. We miss seeing our staff and students on a daily basis and we look forward to welcoming you all back once it is safe to do so. In the meantime, please stay safe and utilize social distancing so that we can continue to see improved infection models.

We will all persevere!
