The NACC Early Childhood Assistant program from Canadian Business College prepares you to play a vital and rewarding role in in the cognitive, physical and social development of young children. This program is available at our Mississauga and North York campuses and is delivered through a hybrid learning system, a combination of online classes, in-class exams and on-campus labs.
Gain valuable practical experience in our practicum under the guidance of qualified early childhood educators. Your clinical placement will enable you to explore childcare and learning centres as work environments and develop confidence while practicing teaching and leadership skills. As a graduate of the ECA program, you will be prepared to work in daycare centres, nurseries and early learning centres assisting preschool teachers.
Students need to successfully complete a final examination offered through the National Association of Career Colleges (NACC) to obtain their diploma and their designation as an Early Childhood Assistant.
What is hybrid learning?
Hybrid learning includes a combination of online classes, in-class exams that must be taken in person and onsite labs where your physical presence is required for hands-on training. It is only offered at our Mississauga and North York campuses to students who are able to be on campus for the required portions of the program.
