About our program
Canadian Business College’s Police Foundations program includes remote, instructor led career training to prepare you for a career in security and law enforcement. Our curriculum is taught by industry experts who have real-world experience in policing and criminal justice.
You will gain a strong foundational knowledge that will help you prepare for the tests and standards you must pass to be considered for a position in policing, including the Ontario Constables Selection Standards. Courses include law enforcement fundamentals, crisis intervention techniques, community policing, criminology, communication essentials, the criminal code and diversity issues.
Upon graduation, you will be ready to pursue a career path in the OPP, RCMP, Military Police, Department of Corrections, private security and more.
