ABOUT THE SECOND CAREER PROGRAM

Second Career is a program offered by the Ontario government to help laid off workers re-train for new careers. It provides financial assistance of up to $28,000 (or more in some cases) to cover the cost of:

• Living Expenses
• Help caring for dependents
• Travel & Transportation
• Support for Disabilities
• Books and Manuals
• Other living and training expenses
